Failing to install Anaconda on my Mac (MacOS monterey version 12.7.4)

What happened?

Initially, i was getting the error '“This package is incompatible with this version of macOS”, however, once I followed instructions in here - https://docs.anaconda.com/reference/troubleshooting/, it seemed to go forward once I changed the folder to my user, but then it said 'install failed, please contact manufacturer' I have also tried to follow the steps below but with no success. can someone please help?
