[Feature Request] Save Sort Order / Default Sorting Preference

I would like to request a feature that allows the selected sorting preference to be retained across sessions. It would be helpful if users didn't have to reapply it each time they access the interface. Alternatively, it would be great if users could have the option to configure their default sorting preference in the settings for all media types.
