When opening the main menu, you will have the ability to focus and move around the clipboard items without needing a mouse, just using the arrow keys on the keyboard.

And when you press enter on an item, select it to the clipboard without needing the mouse.

@luapfr what is main menu ? Is it PasteBar paste menu ? (OS native menu in taskbar) ? If so I can navigate the menu with only keyboard and press enter to paste the value of the item.

Did your colleague manage to understand this keyboard navigation issue?

This functionality would be great

@luapfr sorry but using keyboard only for navigation would not work well in PasteBar. You need a mouse to get full functionality working.

@luapfr sorry but using keyboard only for navigation would not work well in PasteBar. You need a mouse to get full functionality working.

This is a very big limitation for pastebar to become popular on the Internet
Navigating with the keyboard is crucial to the agility of any application.
Other similar applications such as:

Ditto clipboard
CopyQ

They are not limited to using the mouse and can navigate well with the keyboard.

I believe you should pay better attention to this as there is no point in adding a lot of features and not having good usability.

Another thing is the target audience you want to reach.
I'm 49 years old and for people like me over 40, using just a mouse is terrible. I recommended Pastebar to 4 colleagues and they all told me they didn't like it due to the limited usability of the mouse.
My 15-year-old son told me he liked it and the lack of a keyboard for navigation doesn't matter to him.

I'm 49 years old and for people like me over 40, using just a mouse is terrible.

I’m 51, and all my friends use mice or trackpads as input devices. While they’re not terrible, I understand that sometimes using a keyboard and navigating solely with it can be more convenient and quicker.

I believe you should pay better attention to this as there is no point in adding a lot of features and not having good usability.

I agree, but I also have limited time and many feature requests already pending. If more people make requests, I’ll consider this one, but I can’t guarantee anything.

From the requests I've seen, my request seems to be one of the simplest.

However, I see that the demand must be for what will add more to the tool than the whim of some.

Even better, if I ever use it via keyboard, I'll use it again and spread the word.

Currently I use "Ditto clipboard"
For the usability of the keyboard.

As a Delphi programmer, I am skilled with the keyboard and I am not a fan of the mouse as it slows down the work, only using it when I have no alternative with a keyboard.

Grateful.
