Just published Life Itself's digital garden https://github.com/life-itself/community using ☁️ Cloud and it was super simple and especially liked ability to set logo, title etc. Also very fast loading for me:

I took the opportunity to do the same with my handbook and was a somewhat smooth process.

Couple of things I think could be better:

• Make a default config.json and document that feature (perhaps is documented but I didn't found it and ended up noticing the file on the life itself repo).
• Encode space in files as + in the URLs. Right now, files with spaces in them are URL enconded in the traditional way giving URLs like this https://datahub.io/@davidgasquez/handbook/Making%20Decisions. Having Making+Decisions makes it easier to read and reference online from memory.
• The social links at the bottom are hardcoded to Datopian. Might be the thing you want but I was wondering if they could be configured at the config.json level.
• Finally, it would be great to have the option to add a style.css and get that applied. Similar to the publish.css file in Obsidian.

Again, great work! I think this is much closer to something I'd use than it was a few months ago and looks very exciting.

Good suggestion. We do have some docs here:

However, in terms of UX i wonder if we want to somehow walk people through this in the creation process e.g. give people a choice:

• are you publishing a knowledgebase/wiki? ok do this ...
• are you publishing a dataset? then do this
• etc

Very good idea and i've also thought about this for myself. Opened issue here #1172
