Detect mouse position change while onPointerDown is true

Is it possible? Similar to onPointerHover but while onPointerDown is true. It could be really useful for drawing selections.

Could you put a layer or widget over the top which captures all pointer input? After you have the points you can move it to a normal PolygonLayer?
