I did the serializer but not all tests are green. It seems that the serializer loses something with the dates.
Basically the ticks before and after serialization are different by very little but enough to cause the Assert command to fail.

I need to investigate better

ServiceStack.Text will take DateTime as '(xxxx)' as default due to historical reasons, which is quite different from the format of STJ.

But it's OK since users are able to give a custom config, including datehandler. Maybe you just need to give a specific datehandler to match the tests.
