Adding another example for testing connectivity

Hello Open-MPI team,

I was looking through the examples directory and noticed that there is only a C example for testing the connectivity between MPI processes. Is this by design, or do you want more examples for that?

If more examples are welcome, I would be interested in creating one for the Java interface.

We haven't given any love to the experimental / non-official Java interface for quite some time. ☹

If you'd like to contribute some examples, that would be great.

Do you want me to do the connectivity example, or is there another one that you would prefer more that I work on?

I think that expanding the existing example set by keeping in-line with the current set of examples is a good idea. So if you'd like to make a java version of the connectivity example, that would be great.
