File Management 6.1.1: folder dropdown error #5200

@ProjectMarco I believe you are saying that the there is a display issue in the dropdown list, as folders are not indented. We will need to review how the indentation is handled in this context, as it is important from a security perspective to not divulge any details about how folders are organized if a user does not have access to higher level folders. |

@ProjectMarco just to confirm, I think what you are expecting is that the folders would have 1 level of indenting removed (because the user should not be aware of how the higher level folders are organized) but should retain the lower level folder hierarchy: |

Exactly, just like your screenshot. You should be able to see the main folder (e.g. After Sales and Technical Support) with its sub-folders which have many dashes depending on the level they are at. |

@ProjectMarco after looking into this further, the ordering of folders is currently being driven by the Order property... which is not sorted in alphabetical order as you would expect, and also cannot be managed via the admin UI. So there may be some additional refactoring required. |

Hello, on Oqtane 6.1.1 the File Management module version 6.1.1 has an error on the front-end side.
While as Administrator I can clearly see the folder tree and sub-folders...
...on the user side the folders are visible at the same level and it is not clear which are the main folders and their sub-folders.
