Useraccount: change mail attribute to other AD attribute

Our manageiq appliance is Active directory joined.
Is it possible to change the user account E-mail Address from default attribute 'mail' to a custom ad user attribute?

Solved by the following:
modifying the file manageiq-external-auth.conf
Changed mail to the custom ad user attribute

modified the file /etc/sssd/sssd.conf
Changed mail and +mail to the custom ad user attribute
