My copilot chat feature is not working in vs code. Any suggestions on how to fix

1. Verify Prerequisites

Ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Extension Installation: Confirm that both the GitHub Copilot and GitHub Copilot Chat extensions are installed and up to date.

• Supported Plan: GitHub Copilot Chat is available to users with Copilot Pro, Copilot Pro+, or Copilot Free plans. Organization owners with a Copilot Business plan can grant access to Copilot Chat.

• Supported IDE: Copilot Chat is compatible with Visual Studio Code (VS Code) and GitHub Codespaces.

2. Update Visual Studio Code

Outdated versions of VS Code may cause compatibility issues with Copilot Chat. To update:

1. Open VS Code.
