Bug Description
When using Softlink in Windows 10 without admin privileges, the program deletes all to-be-linked entries, logging "Failed to delete file" while in reality deleting them. Since it thinks files aren't deleted, symlinks aren't created either, resulting in deletion where Softlink was intended.
Steps to reproduce:
1- Open program normally, not as admin
2- Scan folders from different drives
3- Select all and click softlink
4- Voila, all your duplicates are now deleted instead of being linked to the first file in the group.
I've checked many "failed to delete" locations where the files were actually deleted unlike the logs claim, now I've to go through thousands of files and link them manually.
Uh oh!
