I have some large images that compare identically with hash, so I don't need to preview them before deleting one. But when I click on one item to delete it, the app previews it, which is slow.

The instructions say that previewing can't be resized but it can be disabled. This seems to be outdated because I can drag the divider to resize the preview but I didn't see an easy way to disable it.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Find some identical images via Duplicate Files
  2. Click on one of them

System

  • Czkawka/Krokiet version: 9.0.0 gui
  • OS version: Ubuntu 22.04
  • Installation method: appimage

UPDATE: found out how to disable image preview via the 🛠 icon, but the placement for that icon was very strange in the window top bar near the minimize button (I haven't seen this in other apps).

However, after disabling that setting, the image preview still shows:

Might also help to add a close button to the image preview area, and remember the close state.
