I want to save all the records in my tmpfs rather than the home directory, but currently I have to modify the output path after vokoscreenNG starts.

I tried search configs in ~/.config/vokoscreenNG but found nothing.

Is there some approach to set the default output directory?

Please post the log.
The log is on the left side in the bottom tab.

Bug was found and fixed under the Wayland version.
This new version 4.4.3 is now available via flatpak.
Please test this and give feedback

Sorry for late reply. I'm using wayland (with arch linux) and the bug has been fixed.
