Hello ;)
Thank you for your tool that is amazing !
I'm not a dev, i just know some stuff on how to build a website, but not a lot, so your tool really help me to go faster ! Especially with all the best practices that a can't know when i start ^^
so here some features i'd like to see one day if you have some time ;) In hindsight, it's mostly feedback to speed up the learning curve, because I'm doing just fine without it today ^^.
Your videos are really good! And the doc is top-notch, thank you very much!
On the fields, it's great to be able to manage margins and padding with the slidder, but 1 time out of 2 it bugs on my computer, the slidder gets stuck :/.
I discovered by chance the
shift
andalt
shortcuts to change the opposite margins/padding, if there had been a tooltip, it would have been easier for me at first ^^.By exploring templates, you've got a great standard for creating templates, but if you start with a blank page without knowing this standard, it's a complicated gap to fill. Why not make a “style guide” page compulsory for all projects, to simplify the start-up process?
And have this page predefine the css variables to be used? Still without cutting into the code, but making them accessible by default when a new page is created?
In the same vein, would it be possible to group the slots together somewhere, with the assets for example?
also, if y want to convert some box to a slot, i have to get a component slot, would it possible to do so with a right clic ?
regarding tokens, I'd love to be able to simply transfer a field from one token to another. For example, if I've changed the wrong token when modifying a parameter, I can move my mouse over the parameter and modify the same field for each token, or drag and drop the modified field from one token to another.
We can ctrl+Z but we can't ctrl+Y and it can be very frustrating to loose some work because we went back too far ^^
Is it a french version available somewhere ? :p
Those were my frustrations, but they're limited considering the work that's been done to have such a relevant, open-source service, so thank you very much!
