Since [1], this will come automatically from `rustc-std-workspace-core` and the crates.io dependency should no longer be specified. [1]: rust-lang/rust#141993
Heya @alexcrichton that thing we talked about is hopefully kinda sorta happening. After rust-lang/rust#141993 merges could you merge this, and then do a release? |
🎉 nice! yeah happy to merge/publish once that's in! If I don't do it in a day or so after that PR merges feel free to ping me here |
Use the in-tree `compiler-builtins` for the sysroot Many of `std`'s dependency have a dependency on the crates.io `compiler-builtins` when used with the feature `rustc-std-workspace-core`. Use a Cargo patch to select the in-tree version instead. `compiler-builtins` is also added as a dependency of `rustc-std-workspace-core` so these crates can remove their crates.io dependency in the future. Ok published this and the wasi crate, although note that for the wasi crate I created a 0.11.x release branch and backported your PR there and did a publish, you won't want to update wasi in the standard library to the latest version but instead stay on the 0.11.x release branch (aka update to 0.11.1) |
Oh, awesome, I didn't even realize we weren't on the latest version. Thanks! |
