Is the book from or for an E-ink Kindle (not a Fire)? If so, make sure to enter the Kindle's serial number correctly into DeDRM's customization. |

Since they were able to get it in azw3 for the Fire, then KFX from Kindle for PC or directly from an E-ink Kindle is likely to be decryptable. I haven't seen the books with stronger KFX DRM have any option to get the older format. |

I believe it is for "Kindle Cloud Reader". But neither Kindle for PC or the E-ink devices receive it. |

Yes, I believe .kcr is Kindle Cloud Reader. Just curious that only Kindle for Mac (and Kindle Cloud Reader) uses .kcr format. |

KCR format is also used by the Kindle for iOS app. It is basically used in place of KF8 on Apple devices. The speculation is that because the KF8 renderer is based on an old version of WebKit it is not allowed by Apple. KCR is HTML rendered by Apple’s software. |
