Can Get DeDRM to Install In Calibre 7.26

I'm using Calibre 7.26 in Mac OS 15.4 and I can't get the DeDrm plugin 7.21 to install. This is the first page of a long problem report that is generated when I try to configure DeDrm in Calibre:

Hello...
I've gotten DeDRM 10.0.9 to install, and I put my Kindle's serial # in, then restarted Calibre...I still can't open or convert an AZW3 ebook file as I get the message that the book is still DRM protected.

I should mention something: I used to have a previous version of DeDRM in previous versions of Calibre, when I installed 10.0.9 and went to insert the Kindle serial number, the box popped up with 2 other Kindle serial numbers I had used for some of the previous versions of DeDRM/Calibre, indicating that there must be an old DeDRM data file somewhere, could this be interfering with my current attempt to use DeDRM/Calibre?

I tried to put Calibre in Debug mode as suggested in the readme but when I opened Misc under Preferences I didn't see any option to add Command Line Tools

Basically I've been trying to add some AZW3 format ebooks that I paid for on Amazon, and I downloaded before Amazon kills the downloading possibility...any hope that I'll be able to use these files?

You chose an E-ink Kindle when downloading the books? You have that Kindle's serial number entered correctly in DeDRM's customization? It is intentional that previous settings from DeDRM stay when updating calibre and/or DeDRM. it isn't an issue.

To create a debug log, click the Preferences drop down menu and then Restart in debug mode.

Yes, I chose E-ink Kindle and I copied and pasted the SN from my Amazon device folder. I'm sorry, I didn't understand how to create a debug log, would you be able to give me some step by step instructions? Sorry to be such a pain. Thank you so much for all your help!!!
