Can I safely upgrade from 13.1 to 15?

Hello, I have already bypassed the MDM in October 2023 when I purchased my Mac from a reseller. Since then, I have not attempted to update the operating system. What is the advised course of action? To reset my Mac and repeat the steps, or to simply upgrade from Ventura 13.1 to 15.2 normally? I appreciate your help.
