HOMEASSISTANT not working

The problem

I refer to

I cannot get it to work and I cannot understand. Curl or HA cannot do websocket connections - is this correct. If I connect to

"wss://signal.aaa.bbb/v1/receive/+4912341234"

this works with another tool just fine and I can receive messages. Curl does not work as curl does not do websockets.

Now for HA I would need a wss connection as well. But rest does this offer?
