Description of problem

App not detecting biometrics configuration and not enabling biometrics.

Expected behavior

  • If biometrics (touch id or face id) is configured on their phone, the wallet should allow for the enabling of biometrics, prompting them to use their biometrics to enable it.
  • OS app settings should display the option to enable face id/touch id

Steps to reproduce

  • Install BC Wallet
  • Open up fresh install and go through onboarding and set up biometrics configuration
  • Tap on the biometrics toggle to enable
  • Message appears that "Biometrics is not enabled" (which is untrue as their device is configured with touch ID)
  • Tapping settings open up the app device settings where the configuration to enable biometrics is not available.

Workaround: Can skip and continue to only unlock the app via PIN.
