Support for Angular 15

This supporting package is several Angular versions behind. Being this far behind can cause significant challenges for consuming products to utilize this package while also trying to stay up to date. One of the projects I've been working on has been blocked from upgrading to newer versions of Angular due to peer dependency issues caused by this package.

The following PR adds support for Angular 15 and will begin to resolve the issues noted above: #68
