[feat] Opt-Out for Auto-Deletion of Trash/Junk/Spam Messages

Describe the Feature

I recently inquired about the auto-deletion policy for messages in certain folders, so I would like to formally request the implementation of an opt-out feature for the auto-deletion of messages system-wide.

Personally, I prefer to use the Trash folder as a convenient storage location for anything that doesn't belong to the Inbox or Archive folders. I do also retain messages for a few years.

The current policy of deleting messages after 30 days (or sooner if storage capacity is reached) poses a challenge. I understand that this feature is desihned to protect the majority of users, but having an option to opt-out would enhance the flexibility for users like myself who have different organizational workflows.

Thanks @x80486, this makes sense. Do you just want a blanket opt-out policy or would your workflow benefit from some granular customization to the folders and policies?

@shaunwarman, my personal preference is to opt-out completely, allowing the option to signal the removal of messages to the email clients.
