nixhub.io is outdated compared to search.nixos.org

What happened?

We've been waiting for updates for some packages (uv) for a while now. Devbox can't find a more recent version than 0.6.14 (which is what we see here: https://www.nixhub.io/packages/uv) while we have 0.7.2 here: https://search.nixos.org/packages?channel=unstable&show=uv&from=0&size=50&sort=relevance&type=packages&query=uv

It seems like nixhub has been lagging behind for a while, and I'm unsure why.

Having the same issue with e.g. https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/blob/nixos-unstable/pkgs/by-name/so/sops/package.nix . With Devbox, only version 3.10.1 is listed, whereas upstream was updated to 3.10.2 two weeks ago.
Same for https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/blob/nixos-unstable/pkgs/by-name/go/go-task/package.nix . Upstream -> 3.43.2, in Devbox -> 3.41.0 .

I had the same issue

The PR to update nixpkgs was merged on 2025-03-29

The package became available at least on 2025-03-31 on search.nixos.org

I had to wait several weeks, at least until 2025-04-14 to be able to update with DevBox, i was checking every day or two

AFAIU, #2576 was merged after what i observed

Furthermore, #2576 has changed the behavior of the command line

The current problem is present on nixhub.io

So i don't expect the two to be related
