I have a request regarding the "Free Crop" mode.
I think it would be extremely helpful if there was an indicator of what size selection you have made (like you would see if cropping an image on Mac Preview) otherwise, if that image will be displayed at a specific ratio, it is total guesswork if the crop created will match.
For context, I have an image field for a card that can either be wide or tall depending on the component layout. The user is given instructions to crop the image to a specific portrait or landscape ratio, depending on which layout they choose. So I cannot enter specific aspect-ratio values for the field, and instead select Free Crop mode. The user is then guessing if the crop they have made matches the aspect-ratio instructions.
I realise I could use different image fields (with set aspect-ratio parameters) but this field is within a custom post type, and the layout option for the component is elsewhere. Regardless I think it would be much easier to use "Free Crop" mode with pixel or aspect-ratio parameters displayed during use.
