Custom Background Color Picker Crashes Application

In Ubuntu 24.02, using an AppImage version of the software, any attempts to use the "custom" colorpicker in theme settings crashes the application.

Steps to reproduce the behavior
Settings > Themes > Custom > Primary Background Color > Color Picker > Select Color> Save
Upon selecting a custom background color or when hitting "save", the entire application crashes to a blank screen or freezes.
The crash can only be rectified by closing the application and restarting it. No earlier color changes are reflected in the new session.

Thanks for reporting this issue.
This seems like something related to the library used to display the user interface (webkitgtk). Currently, this is a bit outdated and seems to cause some issues.
There are ongoing efforts to update the app and bring everything to more up to date versions, hopefully this issue will resolve itself after this is done.

Update: since version 0.8.1, the version of webkitgtk should have been updated.
Does this issue still happen in the latest version of Kanri?
