Proposal: Windows support

Right now the best way to use Kool on Windows is actually through WSL2 - which is pretty much a Linux environment so things should work mostly out-of-the-box.

Now running under Windows is a big question mark due to environment differences - executing docker, docker-compose, flags parsing, etc.

We have people testing that in an experimental fashion at this moment.

I have Windows 10 PRO and I have been using Ubuntu on WSL for most of my projects. That's because this solve most of the platform differences on docker and docker-compose files. In am using kool on the projects I support and all I had to do to make it work was follow some steps:

Install Docker-Desktop for Windows

Download and install the latest version of Docker-Desktop for Windows from Docker's website

Install WSL

Install or upgrade WSL by following the Windows documentation's instructions.

If you are able to install/upgrade WSL2**(minor build number is 1049 or higher) then just jump to the next section.
If your WSL is version 1 you will need to follow these additional instructions from Nick Janetakis to set up docker desktop to work with WSL. These are the basic steps to make it work:

1. Enable the Expose daemon on tcp://localhost:2375 option in the Docker-Desktop settings.
   

2. Add the docker host address:
   echo "export DOCKER_HOST=tcp://localhost:2375" >> ~/.bashrc && source ~/.bashrc

3. Mount C:\ drive on /

sudo vi /etc/wsl.conf

# Now make it look like this and save the file when you're done:
[automount]
root = /
options = "metadata"

4. Exit bash and restart WSL

exit
wsl -t <DistroName>
wsl

Install docker

Install docker for you linux distro following the Docker’s installation guide.
Ubuntu 18.04

# Update repositories
sudo apt-get update -y
sudo apt-get install -y \
    apt-transport-https \
    ca-certificates \
    curl \
    software-properties-common

# Download and add Docker's official public PGP key.
curl -fsSL https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu/gpg | sudo apt-key add -

# Verify the fingerprint.
sudo apt-key fingerprint 0EBFCD88

# Add the `stable` channel's Docker upstream repository.
sudo add-apt-repository \
   "deb [arch=amd64] https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu \
   $(lsb_release -cs) \
   stable"

# Update the apt package list (for the new apt repo).
sudo apt-get update -y

# Install the latest version of Docker CE.
sudo apt-get install -y docker-ce

# Allow your user to access the Docker CLI without needing root access.
sudo usermod -aG docker $USER

Install docker-compose

Intall docker-compose by following docker-compose's installation guide for Linux.
Installing using PIP

sudo apt-get install -y python3 python3-pip
pip3 install --user docker-compose

Install kool

Enter the command below to install kool:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kool-dev/kool/master/install.sh | sudo bash 

After doing this you can use kool like if you were in a Linux machine(somehow you are). You may find some troubles if you need to access VPN resources from the Linux distro. You can fix this by following these instructions

This has been added on latest release 1.0.16.

But we have an issue - Windows tells the installer is a security risk. In order to solve that we need to sign the program.

I think windows store is a good way to go, it will keep everything simple, just go to store and click install!

@cesramires - your notes about WSL are great - maybe you could provide a PR to add this somewhere in the docs/ markdown files? Installation section, maybe a new page linked, with WSL specifics.
