I don't think it's a microG issue, it works for me with CalyxOS. I installed it from Aurora Store, but on CalyxOS it's marked as installed from the Play Store, even though it was installed from Aurora Store.

The app doesn't even need google play services at all to work. This error originates from not having the app installed via com.android.vending, but you can trick it.
