The objective of the CubeSat Data Pool is to maintain a centralized database to track the status of CubeSat and PocketQube missions. Students and engineers will be able to share technical information relating to the satellite they build and provide a history from the basic write-up to telemetry-download and deorbit. Information such as reliability of components and vendors can be maintained and tracked by engineers to develop more successful CubeSats missions.

The objective is to track the success and failure modes of vendor's components across multiple satellites and missions. To this end missions and satellites are linked to systems, subsystems, components, vendors, and failure modes.
