v1.41.1 breaks JUnit testing

After upgrading to v1.41.1 this morning, all the unit testing features disappeared. The testing activity bar (left side) is blank, saying no test are found in the current workspace. And the green triangle ("play") buttons for running unit tests next to class and method names (in the editor) also disappeared. Reverting to v1.40.0 resolves this issue. Did something recently change that is incompatible with the Test Runner for Java extension?
